Our Story
La Belle Wave was born in a season of my life where everything changed.
Becoming a mum is beautiful — but it is also overwhelming, exhausting, and all-consuming. Suddenly, time was no longer mine. Sleep became shorter, lighter… and never quite enough. And somewhere in between caring for everyone else, I realised I had slowly stopped caring for myself.
I still wanted to feel like me.
I still wanted to feel confident, put together… feminine.
But I needed something that worked with my new reality — not against it.
I tried the heatless curlers everyone was talking about. But night after night, I found myself tossing, turning, uncomfortable. They were bulky, painful, and impossible to sleep in — especially when rest was already so precious.
And that is when it hit me…
Why does it have to be this way?
Why do we have to choose between comfort and beauty?
Between rest and routine?
Between being a mum and being ourselves?
I refused to accept that.
So I created something different.
La Belle Wave is more than a curling set. It is a small moment of self-care in the middle of a busy life. It is soft, comfortable, and designed to work with you — not against you. Something you can sleep in, live in, and wake up feeling like yourself again.
Because becoming a mum doesn’t mean losing who you are.
